All recommended base stocks had positive gains during the month of February. Data is in in monthly and annualized percentage changes. For comparison,
. . . . . . . . . % change February . . . (% change Annualized)
DOW 30 . . . . . . . . . 4.63% . . . . . . . . . .(55.58%)
S & P 500 . . . . . . . .3.69% . . . . . . . . . .(44.27%)
NASDAQ . . . . . . . . 3.25% . . . . . . . . . .(38.87%)
On the average, the base stock portfolio performed similarly to the NASDAQ while the monthly stock picks easily outperformed all three major indexes. Thus, the weekly stock picks are full of very healthy and fast running “sled dogs” while the Base Portfolio stocks remain less risky but steady performers.
Even with the negative day on February 28, only two of the weekly pics had negative gains. Moreover, the negative gains were very small and I expect those with negative gains to become positive performers in the near future.
